Mission

EuSalt is a non-profit organisation and exists to provide authoritative information to the public at large and other interested parties about salt and its many uses. A further function is to promote the responsible use of salt.

For in spite of recent research, governmental authorities and consumers keep on being misled by contradictory information on salt and health. EuSalt wants to clear up these misunderstandings by regularly sending out recent scientific findings to the public and the political decision-makers.
